Thailand's Nuttiya uses acrylic paint and applications of foil in low relief to create this painting in the image of the lotus flower--a common theme in Thai artwork. The lotus flower represents purity and enlightenment for practitioners of Buddhism.

I recently renovated my bedroom and was looking for artwork to complement the new wallpaper and decor. I was mildly anxious, but felt that this picture would work. IT IS EXQUISITE. It took a while to be delivered (as advertised) - but was absolutely worth the wait. I love the curves and waves of the flowers and the accents in silver and gold. The colors are intense but soothing. It is nearly a 3-dimensional piece of artwork. It arrived packaged safely (stretched and ready to hang if you dont want a frame) and just warms my heart. It is a superb piece - and I love that it is signed and dated. It is my new powerful antithesis to the negative energies of 2020. I cant wait to hang it where I can be calmed every day by its presence.
