Abstract Painting Made with Mineral Pigments & Watercolor, "Lands of My Land III"

Magda Cordoba creates an extraordinary series of abstract paintings that celebrate her native Costa Rica by working with the natural mineral pigments locally known as curioles which are traditionally used in the pottery from the district of Guaitil. She applies the pigments and watercolor on paper and the result is a modern work of art that amazes and marvels.
