Carrying on the tradition of dhurries, Indian artisans diligently hand-weave this rug of wool yarns through a painstaking process that takes up to five days to complete. A border of sepia gives way to red stripes and a central panel of ivory, decorated with geometric patterns. Sonik Sethi presents this subtle dhurrie rug, completed at the ends with tiny fringes.

The color was not quite as bright as I expected but it is pretty and fits well so I will keep it. And the price was right - especially for cotton. Thank you.

definitely 5 star quality. they are thick and sturdy and should hold up a long time. Wonderful craftsmanship. I bought two to go in front of two sliding doors. They shouldnt bunch up at all. They came folded up, but the fold creases are disappearing very quickly. The only disappointment is that I ordered them in shades of blue and yellow to match the Novica photo, but the ones I received also have bright red in them which was not what I wanted (and I wouldnt have ordered them had I known). That said, the quality is so good that I wouldnt hesitate to order from this vendor again, though I would check in advance to be sure Im getting what the photo shows.
