An elegant skeleton couple grins cheerfully on these charming black face masks by Maria Cristina Martinez. El Catrin sports wear a top hat and sombrero while La Catrina wears elaborate floral hats in the style of bygone days. Inspired by the caricatures of lithographer Jose Guadalupe Posada, Catrina is an important personage in Mexico's November 2 Day of the Dead celebrations.
Crafted of a polyester print and lined in cotton, the masks are lined in cotton, are washable and reusable, and feature elastic headbands for comfort.
Placement of the motifs can vary but the fabric will be the same.

Very nice masks. I love the embroidery and material. I just wish it had the metal nosepiece to keep it close around my nose

These masks are comfortable and wearable. And they are attractive without being garish. Using them less now that I am vaccinated, but they worked for me.
