"Protected Beauty" is a beautiful ring with a perfect name, definitely an heirloom for future generations. Topaz was my daughter's birthstone; she died of covid-19 in February 2020. I am finally able to wear jewelry that reminds me of her without breaking down; the moment I saw it, I knew it was going to be my first gift to myself since her death. It's the perfect piece for me to be reminded of her in a way that's relaxing and reminds me of the continuity of her essence. I bought this as a worry ring - a meeting-friendly fidget toy for the office and other public places. This ring is perfect: the spinner moves smoothly but is snug enough not to rattle, and the texture is satisfying for a chronic fidgeter.
