I'm a practicing Buddhist with training as an artist & craftsperson, so it might not be surprising I've filled my home with beautiful examples of sacred art. When I saw this unusual, beautiful, painted carving of Buddha, I couldn't resist buying it to add to my collection & grace my home with it's lovely peaceful energy! Find a work of art by Gung Gus and add it to your life. You will not be disappointed. Gung Gus is a true artist. His craft is sculpting and painting beautiful, inspiring and intricate works of art, which is a more and more rare set of skills to find. When my hand-carved and hand-painted item arrived and I carefully removed it from its lovely hand-wrapped, case, what was revealed was a sculpture that was beyond my wildest expectations from the photos. The sculpture is tranquil and gorgeous and made of a wonderful wood, and the scenery painted on it is so detailed and beautiful. I am amazed that so much skill in sculpting and painting are within one person.
