Another percussion instrument for my Christmas family band!
I already reviewed two more instruments made by Mrs. Dewi, and this one rates 5 stars as the others do. It makes a nice "musical" noise when you shake it and also is very pretty and nicely painted. I very much like and enjoy the items she makes that can be used to make music; they are a lot of fun.
I compare Trisna's piece to a few coconut shell percussion instruments I found with Native Americans. They are all beautiful. This maraca stands out unique.
This quena is a real work of art. I'm happy that I now have it in my home. I haven't figured out how to play it, but there are directions. I will figure it out!
