In Mexico, when someone receives a favor from a saint or other Catholic image, they can express their gratitude by pinning a small charm, called a milagrito, onto the image. Popular saints can have many hanging on or near them as a testament to their generosity. These 925 sterling silver earrings are based on the heart milagrito - two larger hearts with a series of tiny ones hanging waterfall style. They are made by Oscar Figueroa Escorcia of the famous silver town of Taxco.

Three small but mesmerizing spirals seem to be in orbit around a larger spiral orb in these original chandelier earrings from Bali's Diah Arini. The earrings are crafted by hand in sterling silver and accented with 18k gold. They dangle from sterling silver hooks.

Two sets of adorable birds come together in this lovely pair of earrings by Maria Belen Nilson. She works each bird with meticulous detail and combines them with a flower decorated with a small turquoise.

Born in Argentina, Maria Belen moved to Mexico as a young woman. After living all over the country, she moved to Taxco where she worked as an apprentice under some of the town's best-known masters. She now runs her own workshop where she creates pieces that honor the traditions of her adopted homeland.

Like a reflection on water, the moon graces a beautiful floral medallion. Beneath, three smaller crescents reveal the innate shine of Mexican silver. Gianluca Anzani creates a modern heirloom, cutting the shapes from silver. A slightly worn finish gives these earrings the feel of a genuine antique. Because the rustic shapes are cut out by hand, size could vary slightly.
