Lidia Veronica Echenagusia is a Cuban artist that lives in Costa Rica and specializes in different arts and crafts, painting being one of her greatest passions. She took inspiration from her previous work to capture with acrylic paints on canvas and in Expressionist style a woman whose hair houses the most exotic animals and nature. "This series of paintings was born because many people told me I should turn into paintings the handcrafted dolls that I used to make so they could appreciate them in their homes. I am inspired by nature, colours, everything that surrounds me; the strength, weaknesses and dreams of women and human beings in general," says Echanagusia.

In this painting, Costa Rican artist Olga Saenz Carbonell imagines the movement of sperm as it seeks to create life. She manifests that theme of life with the image of a tree, which is creatively formed by colorful sperm cells in vibrant colors of orange, yellow, green, and fuchsia. Says the artist, "Yellow is a vibrant color; the background is cold. It contrasts with the motion of life, with its fruits and beauty. Below, the force of the earth and life courses through the tree and its roots and insinuate a colorful garden."

In the heart of Antigua Guatemala, amidst cobblestone alleys, stands an old house, its façade as yellow as a ray of sunshine amidst past centuries. Its turquoise door, weathered by time, holds secrets of countless footprints that have crossed its threshold. But what truly captivates the eyes and the soul are the bougainvillea flowers, bravely climbing the neglected walls, painting the house in vibrant pink as if attempting to revive its past splendor. Costa Rica is his homeland and his endless source of inspiration. A traditional Costa Rican home surrounded by nature and animals is depicted by Jairo Mora with acrylic paints on canvas and lovely colour combinations. The artist paints by holding the brush in his mouth because he has no arms or legs. "I hope that the people who buy my works of art feel as happy as I do while making them and appreciate the effort behind each of them," he says.
