The attention to fine detail is stunning in this necklace by Taxco master silversmith Oscar Figueroa Escorcia. The focus point is a sterling silver pendant done in the traditional baroque style of this central Mexican town. Add to that a myriad of tiny beads in turquoise, amber, lapis lazuli, amethyst, obsidian and cultured pearls both on the pendant and on the necklace proper.

In celebration of life, this Day of the Dead skull serves as a reminder of the connection between the living and the dead.
