Spring awakens in Ruth Guevara's newest design, inspired by the lovely flowers blooming in this sweet season. The Costa Rican artisan works on a calabash gourd piece, painting a little poppy whose colour symbolizes hope and peace. This pendant necklace is also ornamented with pinewood beads, and its ivory-toned cord can be adjusted to your liking.

Glimmering petals distinguish the sterling silver narcissus flower at the center of this artisan-crafted beaded pendant necklace from Estuardo Jimenez. Estuardo has high hopes as he designs his one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces. “I dream about making my and my parents’ workshops grow," says the Guatemalan artisan, who says he wishes "...to improve our lives and the lives of our community by teaching more people so they have a job and income for their families.” He combines lovely rose quartz and agate beads to create the bracelet and then adds the dazzling floral pendant. A glinting sterling silver hook clasp completes the enchanting accessory.

Remember the warm and tender side of love with this captivating necklace crafted by Mexican artisan Ali Guzman. Using 24k gold-plated brass wires, the artisan joins cultured pearls with agate jewels, adding a glamorous essence to the piece. Dangling at the bottom, a floral resin pendant and a ceramic heart complete the design with their matching orange hues.

This floral medallion with multi colored petals is designed to energize the chakras. From Alok Jain, the sterling silver necklace is studded with amethyst, quartz, iolite, citrine, peridot, garnet and carnelian. The gems total 1.3 carats and their colors relate to a specific chakra: clear and light purple stones are associated with the 7th chakra (awareness and wisdom); the purple, violet and indigo gems with 6th chakra (insight and perception), and the blue or light blue with the 5th, that of communication and truth. Green and pink stones are for love and compassion, linked to the heart, on the 4th chakra. In Sanskrit, chakra refers to an energy vortex through which vital universal forces are channeled, and there are believed to be seven in the human body. When all seven are aligned the person feels a healthy sense of well-being.
