Ghanaian artisan Robert Lanyo handcrafts a pair of decorative utensils to adorn your dining room or kitchen. This spoon and fork set are hand-carved from rich ebony wood and glow with a high polish. Place these as decorative pieces on a side buffet. They'd be perfect for restaurant decor.

Hand-carved of mansonia wood, this wall sculpture depicts the image of two African women pounding food in a large mortar above a stove. Wavy forms and a painted design give this wall sculpture a beautiful flair. Ghanaian artisan Robert Aidoo-Taylor creates the sculpture, inspired by culinary traditions of his country.

Steam rises from the simmering pot of ufui beih (meaning yams, cassava, and green plantain) filling the air with the tantalizing aroma of cooking food. She bends over the stove, adding mysterious spices and stirring the ingredients slowly. K. Baka is inspired by his rich Ghanaian culture and recreates the preparation of this traditional meal with batik on 100% cotton cloth. This charming wall hanging evokes the warmth and familiarity of the family kitchen.

This beautifully-carved relief panel is presented by Eka, who preserves the carving legacy of her late husband, Putra Suteja. Carved from native suar wood with a natural finish, the panel depicts voluptuous bunches of grapes, ripe for the picking. Signed by the artisan, the relief panel makes an especially striking accent for a kitchen or dining room.

Artisan Leonor Quispe of Peru hand makes these decorative mitts in the arpillera style. The backdrop is a section of an Andean blanket on which she appliqués a Peruvian landscape of llamas strolling through a field of cactus by a small pond with ducks. The sun peeks out from the mountains in the background. The back of the mitts is solid white. A loop of yarn topped with a pom pom is attached to the top corner of each mitt for easy hanging. These decorative mitts would make a colorful addition to any kitchen.
