Different teams of artisans within K'amolon K'i K'ojonel are involved in the creation of this rayon chenille shawl made from bamboo, from those who dye the yarn, to those who spin it, to those who weave it on a backstrap loom. And everyone is working from home, keeping a millenary textile tradition alive.

An interpretation of the traditional textiles worn by women in Guatemala, this enchanting shawl combines red, black and white. It emulates the jaspe technique, similar to tie dye. Women of Aj Quen weave the cotton wrap by hand and finish the shawl with hand tied fringe.

Lines of cherry hues adorn this sweet and radiant design, perfect for making you shine at any event. Guatemala's Elena Ixtamer crafts the shawl using cotton on a traditional loom, arranging each colour on a yellow base hue. As the final touch, Elena adds fringes for a stylish vibe.
