Teak relief panel, "Illuminated Circle"

Radiant like the sun, this panel glows with pristine beauty. Tay Nontawat carves two different pieces of teak wood with a floral medley. When each is finished, he incorporates the two into one resplendent piece. Nontawat's carving excellence can be seen in the detail, which he achieves with a fine chisel and knife. After leaving the wood to dry, he applies color with lacquer paints.
