For generations, most Mazahua women have worn earrings in the shape of a half moon, as these are gifts from the husband in lieu of an engagement ring. Mazahua Family artisans craft these extravagant chandelier earrings of sterling silver. They are crowned with a flower that embraces a garnet. Beneath, faceted garnet globes dance like fringe. The gemstones together total some 4.5 carats.

The workmanship is beautiful and looks great. My only complaint is I thought they would be longer.

Very cute earrings, with good stones, and beautiful design. I remove one star because they seem to lose their shine and tarnish a bit too quickly for my liking. They are light and it is good for those with small ear lobes.
