Presented by Subin Tositarat, this sleek lacquerware box features two handsome stalks of bamboo. Thai artisans hand carve the box from mango wood, coating the inside and outside with a glossy black lacquer. On the lid, a 24k gold foil motif pops against the dark background.

“Majestic Elephant”

This is quite a large sculpture. The artist did a good job with the gold-accents. I have added it to my large collection of elephants, turtles and bears, some of which I bought from Novica.
