Luxurious, floral vine motifs in silver and blue are featured in this decorative tray from Peru. The Ortiz Family diligently hand-paints the designs on the reverse side of a glass panel that rests at the bottom. They work together to craft the tray of wood, finished with silver-tone handles.

I just received my tray yesterday. It was well protected and arrived without a scratch. It is absolutely beautiful?way prettier than the photos online. It is so gorgeous I went back online and bought more trays from Peru for gifts. I compared prices with the reverse painted trays in the Ten Thousand Villages website and these prices are lower. LOVE my tray!

This is a substantial piece that is a bit darker in person than it looks online. A great gift for someone who entertains frequently- very unique and lovely.

The pictures of this item make it look like a color intermediate between purple and pink, however in person, under natural light, I would describe it as being redder/pinker and I would probably describe the color scheme as just pink, maybe with hints of purple. The top panel also looks white in natural light. As purple is my favorite color Im a little bit disappointed in that, and yet despite that, it is really amazing work. Had I known what it would look like in natural light, its possible that Id have gone for Cajamarca Splendor by the same artists, which is a bold combination of secondary colors including purple. However, regardless, I am very happy that I have one of these cabinets, and this color scheme would have been one of my top two finalists for which one I wanted, regardless. I am very happy to have it; it is such a neat piece, and I am amazed that when you consider how much it would cost to ship this much glass from the Andes, they can offer it at this price.
