Based on the traditional techniques developed in Rajasthan, India, this wall hanging is handcrafted of recycled patchwork material, sewn together with cotton. Anil Khandelwal designs the rectangular wall hanging, depicting a fabulous yellow elephant against a body of aqua. He finishes the wall hanging with intricate floral zari embroidery alongside beads and sequins. A floral motif border surrounds the central image.

This is a stunning mixture of beaded, woven and embroidered pieces in rich shades of saturated jewel-tone colors. We have it draped over a trunk in our dining room and I enjoy turning and repositioning it to see the different colors and fabrics, you can see a lot of care went into choosing each piece. It is sturdily made and is a heirloom-quality piece!

I have had this bag for several years and it is holding up beautifully. The construction, design and quality exceeded my expectations. I love this tote as much as the day I received it!

I have 2 matching hangings. I use them as window covers as they are heavy weight and our winters are exceptionally cold, so they really keep it warm in the house and look absolutely stunning. The picture doesnt do these wall hangings justice, they have beautiful silk threads that shine and pretty beadwork that sparkle in the light. They are a labour of love-and fine craftsmanship!!Also there are fabric loops on the back for easy hanging on a rod. A Very well made and durable work of art. More like a fancy tapestry.
