Delightfully romantic, this sterling silver cocktail ring from Buana in Bali features an iridescent white heart-shaped cultured mabe pearl. The artisan surrounds the pearl with an intricate bead and rope bezel, and sets it on an ornate band with exquisite wire work that is emphasized by an oxidized background.

“beautiful”

Very nice workmanship and materials. I was worried that it would look too big, but it looks fine. Its great that the ring narrows in the back of the band so it isnt hard to get it over my knuckle.

“Beatifully crafted!”

I love this ring and all the detail that is in it. The only thing I would advise is that you might want to order up a size as the shank of the ring is wide and it makes it run a little tight in the fit.

This pendant is gorgeous. I wear it with a black cord, so all attention is on the pendant itself. Its one of my favorite pieces.

Buana is a master silversmith. He designs and crafts his jewelry collection using a combination of traditional and modern jewelry making techniques. Buana and his silversmiths share their knowledge and train younger artisans that join the workshop.

Microcredit Financing

Buana has received 14 microcredit loans with 0% interest from Kiva and Novica, the first for $2400 and the most recent for $7000. Proceeds were used to invest in a purchase of natural gemstones and silver for his jewelry.

Caring for Children

When Buana first began to work, he was fearful that he would be unable to care for his first child. Now he proudly cares for two.

Buana provides for the education of his two children.
