Nature treasures favorite moments through the handcrafted art of Komang Sulaksana. He dyes pandan leaves in a rich shade of brown, then weaves it to create the covers of the photo albums. The rice straw pages are separated by thin Doorslag paper. Featuring 20 pages each, the albums are bound with cotton and decorated with a cinnamon stick that is tied with agel cords. Each page is designed to hold one 4x6 photograph in a vertical direction, for a total of 20 photos per album.

“Great photo albums for treasured pictures.”

These beautiful albums are made with as much attention to quality as to their aesthetics. If you are looking for something out of the ordinary for special photos, these are an excellent choice. I searched everywhere to find an album to create a memory book of pictures of a beloved cat who recently died, and these albums are exactly what I had in mind.

“Magnificent!”

I ordered this as a gift for a friend. It arrived in perfect condition, beautifully wrapped in heavy paper decorated with a hand-made straw figure. The journal itself far exceeded my expectations-the cover is totally unique, and the mask and embossing on the cover are exquisite. The binding is sturdy and the paper inside is handcrafted.
