Jade was precious to the Maya, who called it ya'ax chich--it signified life, fertility and power, and was considered even more precious than gold. Zandra Lorena Sajbin in Guatemala showcases the stone in these pretty dangle earrings, which are crafted from sterling silver and set with cabochons of natural light green jade and beads of dark green jade.

I love this ring - very simple and beautiful and meticulously made. I visited Guatemala quite a few years ago, and this ring brings back many wonderful memories of those trips.

I had my eye on this piece for awhile. It did not disappoint. The jade is a deep green and the setting complements it so well.
