The simple and charming rural life inspires master artisan David Laura Zanabria of Peru. Putting his talent and traditional techniques into practise, David uses wool yarns to handweave this captivating tapestry in honour of the Andean lifestyle. Depicting a sweet orchard full of ducks and flowers, this fringed piece boasts a palette of fuchsia and purple for a captivating look.
The artwork is titled Patos de la huerta in Spanish.

This wall tapestry is such a quality piece that I hate to have to return it. Unfortunately, the colors are much more vibrant than I anticipated and just wont work in the room it was intended for. I will continue to explore other items made by this artisan.

The tapestry just arrived and, although I originally planned to incorporate it as a wall hanging, I have placed it under my dining table which has a glass top and is surrounded by six black leather chairs - it is truly magnificent and I have already had compliments!

Im grateful for this powerful work of art. It is the first piece Ive yet to see where the dove is represented as a being of force and energetic change.
