Inka uses crescent moon shapes in this design, diligently handwoven on an artisanal loom from alpaca wool and cotton blend fibers. For the artist, the tapestry represents the "union between the traditional and the contemporary, maintaining the iconic language of the Peruvian culture."

“Stunning Tapestry in Beautiful Colours”

I love the colour and design of this vibrant tapestry by Jhon Laura and his fellow weavers. It is everything I hoped it would be - the combination of digital art transferred to the traditional weaving techniques works beautifully.
