Working with local artisans in Ghana, Victoria Agyepomaa designs this stunning mask that is hand carved from sese wood to resemble a woman's face. The cheeks and forehead of the mask are covered with textured aluminium repoussé metalwork, which creates a lovely contrast against the hand-painted wood. Victoria names her design thandeka, which is a Zulu name for women that means "be likeable, be lovable, be welcome."
