Similar to the charango but larger, the ronroco with its distinctive shape and sound is a traditional Andean instrument. This handsome ronroco combines pinewood, jacaranda wood and congona wood. The ten-string Andean instrument is a South American version of the European mandolin, originally crafted from the shell of an armadillo. Benito Tito creates this piece with a relief of Inti, the Inca sun god sculpted on the back. Equipped with nylon strings, this handmade instrument includes a carrying case of Huancayo-style cloth.

Over the years, I have collected many flutes. This one is exceptional. The wood is perfectly suited for its purpose and lovingly crafted. The holes are just the right size and spacing to achieve the notes effortlessly (without having to partially cover one to hit the true pitch). I got two and a half octaves from it right from the start. The tone is resonant and haunting (in the best way). I absolutely love this flute! The bag that comes with it is vibrant and offers good everyday protection.
