Insets of shining repoussé adorn the chin and forehead of this handsome personage. Subtle color enhances the smooth, regular features. Symbolizing recognition, the mask is named Abodin, a word meaning "very expensive and good in quality" in the Akan language. It is superbly crafted by Walter Kuma.

The wings of this beautiful bird form a soft, enveloping headdress. The egg brings fertility and continuity. This calm, receptive face resembles the author of this sculpture, Walter Kuma. A magnificent piece. Thank you very much.
