Resting atop a tree knob, a watchful hare stands sentry in this sculpture from Bali. Yudi Suardi learned his craft from a young age, carefully selecting a single piece of benalu wood. He hand-carves the image of the hare, allowing the natural shape of the wood to inform his work.

“Wonderful bird carving !”

This single sparrow carving is so beautifully rendered ....I am amazed !! THis artist is a very talented carver. Th detailing are spot on. I cannot give enough wonderful compliments.

“Nice sculpture”

Time consuming in figuring out how and where to insert the hummingbirds correctly ( the birds keep falling down). A picture of the sculpture and some instructions would be helpful.
