Sculpted by hand of native sese wood, this African mask depicts an elegant woman. Long lashes frame her eyes and applications of aluminum create intricate patterns on her cheeks. Abdul Aziz Mohamadu creates an original mask design he names Makoma – "my heart" in the language of Ghana's Akan people.
