Flamingos adorn the forehead of this impressive mask designed by Ghana's Rita Addo Zakour. The sese wood hand-carved mask is ornately adorned with painted details and embossed aluminum. Zakour calls this mask "Yayra," meaning "Blessings" in the Ewe dialect of Ghana.

I am so pleased with the mask and pleasantly surprised at all the colours I couldnt see in the pictures here. Ritas workmanship is exceptional and I am so happy to have two of her pieces. You will not be disappointed. (Yayra on the left, Fafa on the right)
