A bird perches on the forehead of this long, slender mask, auguring peace and success. By Robert Nortey, the sese wood mask receives its rich textures from applications of embossed brass and aluminum, and is named Mantse, which means "king" in the language of Ghana's Ga people.

I have many beautiful masks that I have ordered through Novica and love them, and this mask, ?To Foresee? is no exception! While it it one of my less embellished and detailed masks, it still makes a big impression. Heavy, substantial, and the beautiful reddish color really makes an impact! So happy to have it as part of my collection!
