A hint of embroidery elevates a casual, yet timeless short sleeve blouse by Balinese designer Made Suciati. Using a traditional embroidery technique called kerawang, the neckline, sleeve and hem are finished with a free-form scalloped edge. Elegant enough to be worn alone, it's a perfect layering top under your favorite jacket or cardigan.

I bought this garment to embroider further, to create a totally unique garment, that goes well with my current wardrobe. The fabric is strong yet soft, beautiful, breathable, long-lasting. The top is very well tailored, and lovely to wear

I bought two of these, so I can have one drying while wearing the other. I live in Perth where our summer temperatures are over 40 degrees Celcius, and we need to protect our skin from sun. They are wonderful for a summer jacket over very light voile summer dresses, and also to wear on cooler summer days with trousers and skirts. The darker colour is perhaps more serviceable than the white version.
