Inspired by the beauty of sunflowers, Sukum Ruangdech paints this impressionistic composition. "I saw sunflowers blooming in the morning sunlight every day. It is like a human life that can always start over," says the artist, who works in oils on canvas to paint the appealing scene.

Its a little difficult buying art online. I mean, you cant see the brushstrokes or have an interactive experience with the piece. But on Novica, I trust that all the offerings will be of quality and beauty - at least in some beholders eye! This painting far exceeded my expectations. I wanted something that would have movement in it, and nothing moves quite like water. The colors are rich, and the painting very skillful. Ive received several compliments on it in just the past few months! It seems particularly difficult to review art as it is so subjective. What I can say is that Sukum Ruangdech is very talented and highly skilled. This Impressionist painting can both invigorate and soothe when I gaze at it - which I do quite often. I can feel that water flowing between the rocks, starting its long journey to the sea, and sometimes, I imagine Im flowing right along with it.
