A country cottage with a red tile roof nestles near he shore of a cool blue pond. Crafted by hand, this cedar plate shares a glimpse of rural Costa Rica. Jorge Leiton creates it from cutting the initial wood circles, to shaping them, then painting them by hand. A coat of resin protects the images and a brass hook facilitates wall display.

“Outstanding work of art”

This sloth decorative wall plate is absolutely beautiful. Excellent work by Mr. Leiton. Plus, it was perfectly wrapped and protected for shipping. I only wish that NOVICAs artists would sign their work.

“brings back memories!”

This caught my eye because I visited Costa Rica several years ago, and did see one of their famous volcanoes. This little art piece reminded me of that, and I knew I had to have it.
