Flexing powerful muscles, a man strikes the pose of a wrestler. His head is shaved and his features are Asian, with a pronounced beard and moustache. Artisans from the Angel Cerón Artisan Association depict a figure from the Olmec culture that dates from 100 to 100 B.C. Discovered in Santa Maria Uxpanapan near Minititlan, Veracruz, this beloved image is popularly known as the Olmec wrestler.

A very nice OLMEC Wrestler sculpture------Im very pleased to own it AND it is now my treasure--------- it is displayed proudly in my home office, for the world to see. I am a former wrestler for the University of Nebraska in the late 1950s so this sculpture has special meaning to me. Angel Ceron, certainly is a fine artist Marlen Luff

Ive ordered several of these Codex pieces from Angel Ceron Artisan and they are beautiful works of art. Tezcatlipoca is amazing and I am lucky to have gotten one before they sold out. I have several others including Tlaloc and Quetzalcoatl, etc. They are incredible and worth every penny. I can say that the packaging they come in is 100% secure and that I am always amazed at how professionally they are packaged and shipped. They come from Mexico and always come with a hand written note on a postcard from Palenque.
