La virgen de Guadalupe, of "Our Lady of Guadalupe" is a Latin Catholic depiction of the Mother Mary. Peruvian artisan Erika Ulloa pays homage to that depiction with this retablo. Within a box of wood, Mary is crafted of ceramic and surrounded by flowers and angels in an intricate composition. Erika diligently paints the retablo by hand, opening with floral doors that swing on faux leather hinges.
