Charoensri of Thailand creates this pair of ceramic incense holders of crouching elephants with uplifted trunks. The elephant is an important symbol in Thai culture, celebrated for its longevity, endurance, and strength. The incense holders are glazed in dark brown and feature holes in the lotus centers to hold stick incense.
The artisan describes how she began her journey in ceramics: "I visited our friend's ceramics factory and I observed each step in the process. Seeing my interest, our friend persuaded me to try this work. Immediately, I began learning from skilled artisans. Finally, I was ready to design our ceramics."

From the picture on my computer, it looks like this oil warmer is white but it is actually a cream color which does not take away from the prettiness of this warmer. The blue in the center sets it off nicely. It is made very well and so delicate. Thank you.

Something to think about. These are cute but the incense ashes do not fall on the holder, because they are too small; so be ready to clean up after you use them.

I love them. Im not going to use them to burn incense, but will put the little battery operated tea lights in 6the. They came really quickly and were packed really well to protect them. Thanks
