Berry Alebrije Peacock with Multicolor Hand Painted Motifs, "Fairest Feathers"

This wide-eyed peacock alebrije hand carved from copal wood is a berry color with hand painted details across his feathers. His body is adorned with lime green dots and his tail feathers alternate green and silver accents. This alebrije is handcrafted by artisans Zeny and Reyna of Mexico.

Each alebrije is unique, as the artist works with the individual shape of each specific copal branch to determine the final design.
