In an extraordinary tribute to the beauty of dance, Wayan Rendah transforms crocodile wood into a graceful Janger dancer. Departing from the tradition of Balinese dancing, the Janger dance is a social dance that includes both men and women. Twelve men move aggressively while twelve women sing and sway from side to side.
The Balinese artisan names his sculpture Jangi Janger, which is the song usually sung and played during the dance performance.

This piece of wood is gorgeous! It is a smooth piece of wood and by it being 1 piece, it is a conversation piece. Looks good on any table or shelf.
