Bands of beige and blue shade to grey and black to evoke the many moods of Lake Atitlan. Working on the backstrap loom, Maya artisans from K'amolon K'i K'ojonel transform rayon made from bamboo fiber into a unique handwoven scarf. Lavish fringe trims each end.

I love this woven scarf, but it s quite long on me. I am 5 foot two and have to wrap it over around my neck numerous times..

Kamolons poncho is everything described. I like wearing it with a tank top underneath or a three-quarters length cotton shirt. Can be dressed up or down. Mostly I love knowing something about the artist and supporting her excellent work.
