LOVE MY ASHANTI WARRIOR QUEEN MASK”

During my senior year at the University of Illinois, I decided to take an easy course. I was getting burned out. So I signed up for an African Art History class. That class turned out to be my most difficult course and, after two weeks, and flunking a quiz, I found out it was an advanced course. I could have switched classes, but had already fallen in love with the cultures we studies. Most memorable was the Ashanti people. Years later, while in a store, I pointed to an object and said to my husband, Thats Ashanti. I hadnt yet confirmed my declaration. He picked it up, looked and was impressed that I could identify it as to which culture created it. Ive been buying from Novica for years. This is one of my treasures. Beautifully detailed and constructed. Im looking for another piece as well. Thanks, Abdul for your wonderful art!

beautiful detailed a piece of fine art Hanging on the wall in my office in a spot where I can admired it and appreciate that I discovered the Ashanti people
