The tradition of carving khachqars, or stone crosss dates back to the 9th century reaching its peak during the 12th and 13th centuries. These centuries are often referred to as the "Golden Age" of khachqar carving. You can find our felsite stone sculpture 'Great Khachqar' by Ruben and Karen Ghazaryan in sculpture categories such as Religious Sculpture, Cross Sculpture and Stone Sculpture. Enjoy exploring these sections for other Novica treasures.
