I bought this for my aunt, who loves hummingbirds. She hasn't been feeling well, and I thought watching hummingbirds nest outside her window might cheer her up. Well, of course, she loves the gourd birdhouse. It's beautiful. It might be too beautiful to put outside...that made me laugh, but she promises she will hang it outside, in a sheltered spot so it will be protected from the elements. Right now, it's hanging in her living room! Either way, she loves it.

I was so excited when I opened the box and saw how beautiful this is. I can't wait to hang it outside and wait for the wrens to arrive. And I especially love how there are holes drilled into the bottom for drainage. Thank you for creating such a functional and beautiful gourd.
