Guatemalan artisan Jorge López handcrafts this striking pendant necklace. A circular pendant made of jade hangs on an adjustable black cotton cord. On the pendant, the artisan uses a combination of polished and unpolished jade to form the iconic symbol of peace.

"Today this is a powerful symbol for peace," says Jorge Lopez of Gerald Holtom's design for the British Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament in the 1960s. The widely recognized symbol is expertly etched on a dark green jade pendant. It is worn on a black cotton cord.
