Made Mulyani captures the essence of this Barong in an acacia wood mask that is exquisitely carved and detailed with traditional Balinese motifs. In Hindu mythology, Barong come in many different forms and are mostly represented as animals such as elephants, tigers, pigs, ravens, goats and bulls.

Inspired by an age-old Hindu story, Made Mulyani carves this acacia wood mask of Hanoman. A main character from the Sanskrit epic Ramayana, Hanoman is a white monkey god who helps Prince Rama rescue his wife, Princess Sita, from the hands of the evil ogre king Rahwana. The mask's intricate details are enhanced by the rich wood grain.

Waraporn Khamsuk creates a challenging tic-tac-toe from Thailand. Handcrafted from rain tree wood, the game features a square board with nine standing pegs for the addition of complementary X and O shapes. Just like traditional tic tac toe, the goal is for one of two players to arrange their shapes three-in-a-row. With this game, however, the rules of the old pastime are brought into a three-dimensional space, fun for the whole family.
