He conjures the image of a man sitting on a bench, leisurely reading the paper with his dog by his side. Ramírez transforms a regular sparkplug into the man's body. His head is made from a discarded piece off a die machine and his hat is made with discarded pieces off a die machine. The dog's body is made with parts with wires and a car's clutch, while it's ears are made from die pieces. The bench is made from the discarded pieces off a die machine.

I always take my dogs to the park and try to read a book. I wish I had the success that the guy in the sculpture is having. Beautiful, substantial work. Senor Ramirez is quite gifted, this is my fourth piece of his work. I'm sure it wont be the last.
