From Gunadi, these decorative bowls showcase the ancient Javanese art of batik. Three centerpieces in graduated sizes are carved from native wadang wood. The motif in red, cream and black is called lok chan and refers to the relationship between China and Java, dating back to Ming Dynasty.

These are so finely made, it is hard to believe that they are hand made (and not lazered out in a factory). Just beautiful. Under each one in peach pen is the written warning that they are for decorative use only. Hoping this could be put on a sticker next time? still highly recommended.

These are bigger than expected. Absolutely beautiful. Not very heavy so branches of tree are not weighted down. The design work is stellar. I highly recommend this artist, he is very talented. You will not be disappointed with his work.
