Woman in Red with Bread Handmade Uzbek Porcelain Figurine, "Uzbek Hearth"

G'ayrat Juraev and his family run studio craft this delightful porcelain figurine of a woman in a traditional red chapan proudly serving "Plov" or pilaf, the signature dish of Uzbekistan. Plov is a rice dish with meat, grated carrots, and onions cooked in a kazan over an open fire. It's eaten at all special events such as weddings and for major holidays.
