The Karen hill tribe artisans from Thailand are known for making jewelry unique to their corner of the world. Artisan Napapat comments that their works are "...very creative and beautiful, but also distinctly Thai: their methods unchanged from mother to daughter." Here she presents a hand braided ebony colored cord bracelet with a barrel-shaped silver tube flanked on each side by two beads; the detailing of the tube's filigree motif and the bead's decorations is further enhanced by the combination finish of the metal. The sliding knot closure makes it easy to adjust the bracelet so that the fit will always be perfect.

Napapat is a stand out artistian. I have purchased multiple pieces from Napapat with each piece exquisitely hand crafted and made to last.

I love the look of this bracelet...it is difficult to get it on and off because of how tightly it is braided. I think that will solve with time and use, but right now it is very difficult to put on and taking off is even harder. Perhaps that is a blessing in disguise, as it is very well made.

I really like this bracelet; exactly as pictured. However, the wax coating wears off immediately and I have to adjust the cord frequently.
