Nicely detailed, sterling silver cuff bracelet”

I recently purchased this beautiful sterling silver cuff elephant design bracelet. I love it! The detail is exquisite, and it has good weight to it. The only negative is the size. Like so many bracelets that Ive bought from NOVICA artisans, this cuff bracelet is HUGE, and I do not have dainty wrists. Since its a cuff, I can apply gentle pressure to close it tighter, but I do not want to misshape it, so I have to be very careful. Even at its tightest, this bracelet fits more like a bangle, falling down to the top of my hand, instead staying tightly cuffed around my wrist. This seems to be a regular occurrence from NOVICA artists. I love the uniqueness and the craftsmanship of NOVICA jewelry, but the craftsmen often size womens bracelets too big.

Elephants bring good luck and I'm hoping this elephant bracelet brings good things my way.

beautiful bracelet”

This bracelet is even more beautiful than the picture and appears to be well made, not flimsy at all. Im very happy with it except that one of the little elephants popped off! I wear this 24-7 as it was a gift in memory of my recently deceased sister.

Really underestimated”

This ring is so much nicer than anticipated. The contrast between the polished hammered finish & the smooth darker & polished circles is very striking. It is an eyecatching statement piece. Unlike anything I ve seen before.

Achara is not only a talented jewelry artisan but is also a kind, dedicated entrepreneur. Her workshop has several full-time workers, and she provides work for a number of part-time silversmiths. Her part time collaborators are hill tribe artisans who struggle to survive. To ensure that these artisans have enough income to live on; Achara continually orders their silverwork and pays for it in advance. She does this even though she may have no orders for their work at the time. She is able to do this because of her Novica customers who provide a stable, steady income for her workshop.
