Hand-painted with intricate floral motifs, this traditional reverse-painted glass tray is the work of Peru's Asunta Pelaez. She hand-pants the designs onto the reverse side of a glass panel, decorating the tray's bottom. The tray is crafted of wood, complete with silver-tone trim and handles at the sides.

This tray is absolutely gorgeous and promises to be used for many special occasions --- daily! Sent to our son as he loves making tea while working or relaxing. I especially love the silver warmth with the colors of the florals.

This is so beautifully painted! I love the design and the handles are just the right size to easily carry the tray.

This was perfect for a small spot on a bare bathroom wall. It added just the right amount of personality.

This is my 3rd reverse painted mirror from Asunta Pelaez. 1st was the small Crimson Star; then the octagonal Black Star; and my birthday present was this golden Sweet Flower Majesty. They are all beautiful, but I do have one complaint: Though the mirrors increased in size/weight, all are pre-mounted only with a single relatively cheap piece of hanging hardware (pictured -- the scratches on the paint are from hanging the mirror my wall, the removing it for the picture). I would need to *very carefully* mount another piece of hanging hardware to hang a mirror horizontally. Also, the existing hardware is both somewhat flimsy (I live in an earthquake zone), and mounted so near the edge of the frame that if you use a hook instead of just a nail, the hook is visible above the mirror. At the moment, my solution is to paint my hanging hook to match my wall. I would prefer to mount better hardware to the mirror, but the mirror is thin and I worry about breaking it if I add hardware!
